We were inspected by the Care Quality Commission in December 2015 and have now received the final report. We were rated as good in all areas and very pleased to have achieved Outstanding in "Well Led"! The report is attached above or can be viewed via the CQC website.
ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION SERVICE (EPS) AVAILABLE
SAVE TIME! No need to come to the surgery to pick up your prescription – it can go straight to your nominated Pharmacy! Please speak to your Pharmacy to sign up! A small number of prescriptions cannot be sent this way and will remain as paper prescriptions for now.
ACCESS TO OUR CLINICAL TEAM
We pride ourselves in offering advance appointments for the whole clinical team and appointments on the day to see a GP or nurse Practitioner. It is very difficult to judge demand, so some days we do struggle to meet that demand on other days we have free appointments! In order to address this the practice offers a "ringback" service, all day - every day (8am - 6pm M-F). The ringback is used for anyone who needs urgent advice but does not need to be seen OR for any patient who cannot get a needed appointment. A GP will call the patient on the "ringback" and arrange the necessary care needed, which may mean the patient is asked to come into clinic. This means that EVERY PATIENT can access our clinical team on the day if they need to. The "on the day" appointments release at 8am each morning - not ideal for everyone we know but no time would be. If you need to contact the surgery but dont need an appointment "on the day" it is best to call later in the day when the phones are less busy.
We can now take card payments for any private fees!
